It's a lazy day for us today. Just kind of laying around, cleaning, playing and enjoying a day off from work. We all still have colds, but they are slowly coming to an end. I hope to find time today to work on the carousel scrapbook I purchased. One is mine and one is Mom's.

Mom sent pics of Sammy in Olivia's baby bed. She was able to fix it and we should have it back Saturday. Hope it's sturdy !!

Off for a nap now.

Sammy is already asleep and Olivia is ready. Best part of being off. Naps with the kids !!

Great day to try and restart my blog !!

New Year's Eve...what a great day to try to restart my blog. Maybe I can count this as a new year's resolution. I would love to be one of those blogger's who update every day. I'm a big fan of Karen Russell's blog. She adds something nearly every day with pics !!! I am sooo jealous. What a great way to keep record for your kids.
So, here I go...trying to document for Olivia and Samuel.
Christmas this year was without Nigel. My Mom came over to celebrate with us. She arrived before the kids got up and boy did I over do it this year. They had so many gifts that I had to put some back for their birthdays. Overall it was a fun day !!! They both got motorized cars and Butchie got them tricycles. Mom got Oliva a baby doll bed with a little cabinet underneath. Sammy thought it was a great place to climb into and pretend to take a nap....well, plywood is not that strong !!! Mom took it home to fix it. Olivia also got a "poopy on the potty" doll....hoping this will help potty train her. Sammy got a really cute Handy Manny toolbox with all the tools that sings and dances, Olivia threw the biggest tantrum for this toy. Nearly hysterical. Butchie went out the next day and got her one just like Sammy's. Sammy also got the new Elmo that tells jokes....he hasn't played with that for five minutes.....me on the other hand has had a ball with it.
Olivia's birthday was Sunday....but this year we are going to celebrate her and Sammy's this Sunday which is his birthday. That gives them and me a little breather in between Christmas and birthdays. Not sure I can get away with that again.
My big Christmas gift was a new camera!!! Whooo Hoooo !!! A Canon Rebel. I cannot believe the difference in the pics it takes compared to my point and shoot little one.

The kids and I are all sick with colds so it's going to be an early one tonight.
Keeping my fingers crossed that I will blog nearly everyday !!!
